It starts with a plan
J&R Wood Products may be a small business, but we use a state-of-the-art computer program to make sure your ideas come to life.
3D Design
Starting with a hand sketch of what the finished product will look like, we then take measurements of the area and start laying out the cabinetry in our computer program. Our software generates a 3D rendering of the finished product.
Imagine how much easier it is to make decisions when you can see what the finished result will be.
For example, if we are designing cabinets for a new kitchen, the customer is able to choose from thousands of wood grains and finishes, counter top materials, flooring, and appliances to complete the picture.
Quality
Over the years, J&R Wood Products has earned a reputation for providing high-quality products at reasonable prices. We have experience working with all types of wood, including cherry, alder, hickory, maple, oak and beech.
If you prefer another type of wood, we will gladly order it for you. If you are not familiar with the properties and characteristics of the different types of wood, we will fill you in on the benefits and can offer advice as to which type will best suit your project.

Creating your custom cabinetry
Here's a step-by-step description of the process we follow for custom kitchen cabinetry.
Meet and measure
Contact us to meet at your home to take measurements. We'll listen to your ideas and create a layout sketch.
3D Design
We layout your kitchen on our computer program and email the design for your feedback and changes, if necessary.
Estimate and final choices
Once any layout changes are complete, you'll receive an estmate schedule a shop visit to choose wood type, stain color, hinges, and hardware.
Building
We'll order your materials, build the cabinets and finish them according to your specifications
Installation
A delivery date is set, we install all the cabinets followed by hardware installation and trim work. Once installed, we'll perform a final walkthrough to ensure your satisfaction.
